We’re here! Our flight from Denver to L.A. was fun. Then the flight from L.A. to Lima was cool, but there was some turbulence. Finally the flight from Lima to Cusco was amazing. When we were landing all we saw was green. Green hills with canyons and grasslands that seemed to last forever. After a drive that did seem to take eight hours, we finally arrived in Ollantaytambo. We went to a restaurant for dinner last night. It was our first time actually in the town and plaza. I loved it! It is amazing here, on both sides of us are mountains that are all green. It is totally different form Colorado, that isn’t green like at all. When we woke up, it finally dawned on us that we were actually here in Peru and when we looked out side we saw clouds down by the mountains and we saw that there are ruins in the mountains. It was a breath-taking site. It truly is amazing.

We’ve finally arrived to the beautiful city of Ollantaytambo. Our journey was very, very, long, however it was very exciting. When we finally landed in Cusco the thought that we were finally here didn’t seem real. After our drive through the city, and seeing many interesting sites, we headed south-east into grasslands that seemed to be everlasting. Finally as we hit the long, bumpy, road going into Ollanta and no one was able to keep still. We were all so excited. After a great dinner we headed to bed and this morning we are ready to go rafting on the Urabamba River. I’m having so much fun!

Hey Mum, Dad, Michael, Chloe and Honey! I’m fine and I feel great. It’s really beautiful here and it reminds me of Bali but with really lush, green mountains everywhere.

We finally made it!! Hey Mom, Daddy, Jon, Michael, and Reilly! It feels so good to be back here and is even more beautiful then I remember! We are about to leave for rafting and I am so excited! Love you guys and miss you!!
